Remote observation, surveillance and built-in suspicion are the basis for the perspective of intelligence services wherever they are. The exhibition deals with visual information and its modes of visual analysis. The same information that serves as the basis for physical operational activity in specific places is also a visual starting point for connections between layers of physical and mental presence. Familiarity requires personal communication whose price may be heavy, but on the other hand is also probably the only way to establish a relationship that trust can form as a result.

The paintings in the exhibition range from outside views – showing buildings, vegetation and people without identity, to action from the heart of the cultural contexts produced by the same places, people, and different periods that indicate closeness.
