At the center of Eitan Buganim’s exhibition is the video work “Heartless” and next to it works made in photography, drawing, painting and sculpture. These works examine in a way that ranges from amused to disturbed, schemes of doing in art. The identified and recognized one is examined as an isolation of DNA samples of “sources” that are embedded in their duty as additional “sources”. The question of a personal, clear, and familiar manuscript is confronted with the ability to imitate, which raises on the agenda the mimetic principle of perceptions derived from it, and the mode of their existence as they unfold in art today.
